For 27 September–4 October, the weekly dig turns up label teasers, an Amsterdam ticket update and two October releases, plus a revised release date and a run of anniversaries spanning 1993–1998.
News:
Chopped Herring’s 2 October email dropped a teaser for an album due in a few weeks from an unnamed classic 90s artist making their first appearance on the label, with cut-and-paste production in the mix. The store offer keeps rolling until Tuesday 6 October: code coupon30cd gives 30% off most CDs and shipping, excluding the last two cycles and bundles.
A 1 October update passed on by Fokis of Loyalty Digital Corp put the Amsterdam stop on Sadat X’s European tour close to a sellout, with fewer than 35 tickets remaining. The bill features Sadat X, Grand Agent and newly added Dutch MC/producer Mister Personal; only a handful of tickets remained at €24.95 before the price jumps to €28.95.
Coalmine Records’ 1 October teaser puts a possible reissue of K-otix’s Universal on the radar, following Spontaneity. More news and official information from Matt Diamond’s label are expected from 17:00 CEST on 6 October; the reissue is not yet confirmed.
