Tommy Vamoz drops 90s boombap beatmaking…

I'm a big fan of his work and find his youtube videos very inspiring and I follow Tommy for quite a while, specifically on his instagram page https://www.instagram.com/tommyvamoz/

Tommy keeps the boombap beatmaking alive and uses a lot of analog outboard gear, and rocking the MPC60!

He dropped a nice beatmaking video which so should check out!

Tommy Vamoz is a beatcreator from the Netherlands. Started in 1999 with making beats and produced a lot of records with artists from all over the globe. Names like: Sixman ft. General steele ft. El da Sensei, Uniq, Crosby, One Voiz, Psl, Starrlight etc. He even made it to the radio show of Dj Premier with the track: Sixman - Eyes wide The beat types are soulfull, oldskool hiphop, boombap. Tommy has a analog workflow. From mpc2000/mpc60 to mixingconsole (Mitsubishi Quad Eight Westar) and record it on tape with a Fostex R8 multitrack recorder. Then mixing it back to the console with hardware compressors and processors to record it into cubase. Tommy loves the crunches and dust from old records he samples. And that's what you are going to hear, semi lo fi unclean sounds! For more info: Tommyvamoz@gmail.com
