Back in 1997, “Life's Waterz” surfaced as an obscure cassette out of Queens, NY, with some tracks appearing only as snippets. Nearly three decades later, the project finally gets the release it deserves: all eight original cuts in full length, plus seven previously unheard tracks from the same era. The Deacon Legacy represents more than just MC Deacon Legacy himself – it's a whole camp, including Vice Versa, the duo of Fase Fax and Terra P, featured on four tracks. Mostly produced by Sad G, with contributions from Deacon Legacy, Khalil Cave and Gerard C. Baker, the album captures the raw, unfiltered essence of New York's 1997 underground scene. New artwork by Cors One, featuring original photos from back in the day, brings the story full circle.
